Who doesn’t love waterfalls?! Especially during summer time aka road tripping season.
I have explored around my fair share of waterfalls, however, my list is forever growing. I am going to help your list grow by inspiring you with five EPIC waterfalls right here in British Columbia.
1 – Whitecroft Waterfall
This little waterfall is truly a locals gem. This is found about a 40 minute drive from Kamloops in the town of Whitecroft. I found directions to these falls here. In the spring the water gushes like crazy and in the winter you can walk right up to the falls on the ice making it an excellent pit stop all year round.
2 – Helmcken Falls
Located in beautiful Wells Gray Provincial Park these massive falls are a must see. BONUS – Wells Gray also hosts 38 other named waterfalls so pack a snack and spend the day exploring this beautiful park. My favorite waterfalls are Dawson Falls, Moul Falls and Spahats Falls. You can read about all of them here.
3 – Bridal Veil Falls
This tourist destination is popular for a reason. Located right off of the highway near Chilliwack there is no excuse to not pull over and check this impressive waterfall out. This well signed waterfall is impossible to miss and google maps will show you exactly where it is here.
4 – Peterson Creek Falls
Peterson Creek is a beautiful park right in the city of Kamloops. It has a few waterfalls in it which make for a fun day in the park. Many people pass through Kamloops during summer road trip- check out more info on Peterson Creek here.
5 – Brandywine Falls
Lastly, the impressive Brandywine Falls. These falls are located just an hour north of Vancouver and are super easy to find. Find google directions here.
