Canadian Flag Smoothie

Canada’s 150th birthday is coming up soon and this is kind of a big deal! To celebrate this exciting milestone I’ve teamed up with some amazing Canadian brands to create a recipe. Today I am going to share with you a layered strawberry vanilla Red & White Canadian Flag Smoothie (but you can enjoy this any day of the year!).

Ready to get your Canadian pride going? Follow these instructions:


Red Smoothie

Add all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend the red smoothie. Set aside. (Tip: pour the first bit of the red smoothie into your cup and put it in the freezer so that the white layer sits on top nicely).


ย White Smoothie

Add all of the ingredients into the blender. Blend the white smoothie.


Layer the red and the white smoothies. Top with Nature’s Path Coconut & Cashew Butter Granolaย and raspberries. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks:

Guys, I seriously struggled with the layering of this smoothie. My first attempt of this was a total fail. Then I had the idea to freeze the layers before adding another one. So I did the red layer, froze for 30 minutes, added the white layer, froze for 30 minutes, added the final red layer, froze for 30 minutes and then I added the toppings. If you are short on time just pour the red and white smoothies in together and enjoy a marbled smoothie – it’s still pretty and tastes delicious!
